About

Hi, I am Dr. Wajahat Ali Khan, an Assistant Professor at the Kyung Hee University (KHU), South Korea. I am currently involved with Professor Sungyoung Lee’s Ubiquitous Computing Laboratory as a collaborating Professor, where we are working on the development of smart health and wellness applications using the state of the art techniques and technologies.

My Academics
Most recently, I did my Post-Doctoral Research in the area of Wellness and e-Health, at the Ubiquitous Computing Lab, KHU.
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Engineering, KHU, under the supervision of Professor Sungyoung Lee.
My MS is in Information Technology from National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan.

My Research
My main research interests include; Semantic Web, Linked Data, Context awareness, and Ontology Matching.
In particular, I am interested in the use of Semantic Web technologies and Machine Learning in Social Media for Sentiment Analysis. I am also working on interoperability aspects for enabling the meaningful communication in medical systems.
